Galaxy Note II (N7100) | August 2012 | September 2012 |
Galaxy Note III | September 2013 | September 2013 |

Note: In the above table’s column “Device Name”, the Note series’ phablet codes are of Base variants there are few other variants with different codes like Note 3 Neo, Note II CDMA, and Note 3 Dual SIM etc. These should not be confused with others.
Samsung started the Note series around 3 years back when it announced the first member of this series at IFA 2011, Berlin. Galaxy Note (first) was then made available to the public in late October of 2011. The firm seems to follow a system in this release date timings if you notice, even it has implemented a system for Galaxy S series also. Somehow, this time also the firmwill be releasing the device in starting of 2015’s Q3 unless it doesn’t get under any serious market competition or pressure. If you look at the dates mentioned in the above table, you will notice there is a tradition going on which Samsung is following perfectly.
The recently launched fourth gen member of Note family is still struggling to be released in all countries of the world. Anyways, as we look the table purports that three Galaxy Note phablets were announced in September month of the releasing year as well as released in the same month except the foremost member Galaxy Note (N7000) which came out in October 2011. Taking all the things in consideration, anyone can easily say the Korean firm is following a tradition and will follow up by releasing Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in September 2015 while the actual availability may be few weeks up and down depending in all countries of the world.
