Recent rumors pertaining to the iPhone 7 claim that the handset will support solar power and will be waterproof.
The same rumors were earlier said of the iPhone 6, but since the said features did not materialize, the speculations have resurfaced again for its successor. It was previously reported that Apple's iPhone will pack a unique feature supporting solar power, which will aid in the power capacity of the device.
Also, the handset will presumably be waterproof. Many Android smartphones already pack this particular feature. It was first popularized by Sony Xperia smartphone, and most users like this feature as it is inevitable to use the handset near water. The main difference is that, the entire Apple smartphone and all of its circuits will presumably be waterproof, which will prevent damage when submerged in water.
Another rumored feature of the handset is gesture controls that will allow users to use the device without physically touching it. This is also packed in some Samsung Galaxy smartphones, and some think that Apple is falling behind in this aspect of the race.
Apple surprised its waiting fans and the tech industry when it announced the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus boasting larger screen displays. The company reported that it sold over 10 million handsets on the first weekend after release.
However, amidst the joy and excitement, the handsets were clouded by issues due to alleged bendable and brittle screen panels. The controversial #Bendgate issue that claimed that iPhone 6 units are pretty malleable calls for a stronger screen panel that can withstand pressure. The brittle screen is a turn off for some consumers. Thus, rumors suggest that Apple will include a sturdier screen display made out of Sapphire glass for its next iPhone. It has long been rumored that the said material would be used on an iPhone; however, the company included the said panel in two of the three new Apple Watch models instead.
Meanwhile, it is too early to speculate about the release date of the purported iPhone 7.  Consumers may have to wait for another year or so for a new iPhone to come out.
1. Camera:
iPhone 7 will capture clearer images and has a better and faster camera. It is likely to feature a 20 MP or an 13 MP iSight camera. On the front it may have 2MP – 5MP Facetime HD camera. This will be the best in comparison to other series of iPhone. Now you would capture more clear and crisp images.
2. Display:
Display of the iPhone 7 would be larger and advanced than the previous ones. The screen size would be better, allowing users to watch videos and pictures on a bigger screen. The clarity of the screen would be improved as well. Another feature which is expected to be added in this device is user friendly touch screen navigation, which is assumed to make the device simply amazing. It is needed necessary to run such a powerful gadget with high display quality.
3. Memory:
Apple will create another standard with its record and is rumored to have a memory space up to 256 GB. This means now you can store all your digital content in just one phone. However, this certainly seems a perfect plot to launch upcoming iPhone 7 with such on-board storage capacity.
4. 4G Connectivity:
Other expected feature that is surrounding the rumor mills are 4G network capability which would make browsing and internet surfing at a good speed. This new generation phone would be supported on both At&T and spirit networks. Now one more feature is added to make your heart sink for this upcoming rumored iPhone.
5. Processor:
The new generation iPhone 7 is expected to be based on quad core A9 processor or may be better than this. This new updated processor would allow you to perform various task more easily and speedily.
6. Projector:
The new generation iPhone 7 will be faster and better with the improvement in technology and is probable to be laden with remarkable and exclusive features. It is heard from the sources that apple will soon be developing a built-in projector for its new iPhone 7. This new application will enable users to project their movies, videos, or presentations on any flat surface, which would also enhance the viewing experience of the users.
7. Battery:
Battery backup of any phone is one of the major considerations that one has before buying the device. With the expectations of many improved specifications, the battery life of the iPhone 7 is said to be exchanged by a new battery technology with extended hours for its usage. Apart from this, the traditional Li-On batteries will replace with the new battery which uses organic materials.
8. Virtual Button:
This upcoming generation device could feature a wraparound display with virtual buttons on the side. The flexible displays can be used on multiple surfaces of devices, including front and edges which may function as virtual buttons or switches.
9. iOS 9:
iOS brings revamped notifications and appears moving to the direction of wider application integration. The new iPhone 7 is expected to feature iOS 9. But before that iPhone 6 is rumored to launch in August end or September beginning of 2014 running IOS 8.
Reports said that the iOS 8 version will be on a new category “Healthbook”, which would make the users access medical information more easily and monitor their well-being efficiently. This new version of iOS will be announced on 2nd June 2014.
